Annihilation and Devs director is back with a brand-new feature from A24 that feels all too real some days. Announced back in January 2022, Alex Garland describes Civil War as a "companion piece" to Men, and "serves as a sci-fi allegory for our currently polarised predicament."In the feature's first trailer, we start with radio announcements that briefly look at the world's backdrop. 19 states have seceded from the Union and a new American civil war has started. The President (Nick Offerman) gives a state of the union-type of address adding more insight about who the nation is targeting and his determination to wipe them out. Check it out below.
