2022's Uncharted movie starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg earned more than $400 million worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing video game movies of all time. Despite being hailed by Sony Pictures as the company's next franchise, no sequel has been announced. However, Wahlberg has revealed that a script has been written.Speaking to The Direct, Wahlberg said he has heard "lots of different ideas" about a sequel, adding, "I know somebody's written a script, and they're still working on it."The script for the first Uncharted movie was written by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, the team that wrote the original Iron Man, along with Rafe Judkins (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.).
