The Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader respec mechanic allows you to fine-tune your character's build in case you made mistakes or want to try something different. Since the game has several available classes/archetypes, dozens of skills, and hundreds of talents to choose from, it's a given that you'll have to make a few changes down the line. You should gain access to the vessel as early as Act 1. Danrok himself is found right near the main terminal that opens the Koronus Expanse map. Simply select "My retinue and I are in need of training" to open a new panel. Note that Danrok himself has another option that lets you recruit custom companions (i.e. hirelings or mercenaries).Also, bear in mind that choosing to respec a character costs Profit Factor; the cost increases the more you do so.
