Revenant Just Murdered Apex Legends' Main Antagonist

Respawn has released the final installment of Kill Code, a series of animated Apex Legends shorts focusing on Loba and Revenant's respective quests for revenge. Entitled Kill Code: Part 4, the final episode has some truly wild twists and turns, including the death of Torres "Duardo" Silva, the head of the Mercenary Syndicate, CEO of Silva Pharmaceuticals, and Octane's grandfather.In the previous installment (which was a very short mini-episode called A Life For A Life), Loba and Revenant agreed to set their differences aside and team up to take on Torres Silva, who had recently acquired Revenant's source code, using it to make drastic changes to Revenant that saw him "reborn" with new abilities back in Season 18. With the release of Kill Code: Part 4, Respawn finally revealed the real reason behind those changes.After secretly bugging Octane with a GPS tracker, Lifeline, Mad Maggie, Valkyrie, Loba, and Revenant tracked their fellow legend to the location where Torres was keeping Revenant's head. The plan was simple: Catch Torres off-guard, use Revenant to threaten him into submission, get ahold of the source code (which exists in the form of Revenant's very Futurama-esque human head in a jar), and let Loba destroy it, as Revenant has been programmed to be unable to harm himself. Doing so would give both legends what they wanted: Loba would avenge the murder of her family at Revenant's hands, and after 359 years of suffering, Revenant would finally be granted the peace of a true death.Continue Reading at GameSpot...
