James Gunn's Superman: Legacy Casts Jimmy Olsen And Eve Teschmacher Roles

James Gunn's Superman film, Superman: Legacy, is progressing steadily with new additions to its cast following the recent actors' strike. The DC Studios production has enlisted Skyler Gisondo and Sara Sampaio for pivotal roles, according to The Hollywood Reporter.Gisondo (HBO's The Righteous Gemstones, Licorice Pizza), will portray Jimmy Olsen, the youthful photographer at The Daily Planet. Gisondo, who previously appeared in Olivia Wilde's Booksmart, also brings prior superhero experience from the Andrew Garfield-led Amazing Spider-Man films. Sampaio, a Victoria's Secret model, has been cast as Eve Teschmacher, the assistant and occasional confidante of the cunning antagonist Lex Luthor, played by Nicholas Hoult.The new additions join the previously announced leads, with David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane.
