Activision has provided a first look at the upcoming Season 1 update for Modern Warfare 3, which includes a tease for the continuation of the Zombies storyline, Dark Aether rifts, and new acquisition schematics to unlock.Currently, players have three story acts to complete for a set of story cinematics, but Season 1 is set to expand Treyarch's ongoing narrative. As teased in the latest Call of Duty blog post, players will be tasked to investigate a massive, mysterious gateway appearing on the Urzikstan map.Dark Aether Rifts are another Season 1 addition. These rifts are a new endgame experience to master once players have completed the seasonal mission.
