Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for Madame Web, its upcoming Spider-Man spin-off movie starring Dakota Johnson. The Fifty Shades of Grey star plays Cassandra Webb in the origin story for the Marvel hero.The movie is described as a "suspense-driven thriller." Webb is a paramedic in Manhattan who has the power of clairvoyance. "Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures...if they can all survive a deadly present," reads a line from the movie's description.
