The Last Of Us Season 2 Entering Production Early 2024, HBO Says

As part of HBO's big media event on Thursday, the company announced that The Last of Us Season 2 will begin production in early 2024. According to Variety, studio boss Casey Bloys confirmed this and noted that the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes led to a delay in the production of Season 2.The WGA strike is over, but the SAG-AFTRA strike remains ongoing. While early 2024 is the targeted start date for filming on Season 2, that isn't 100% confirmed as of yet and will depend on what happens with the actors' strike.As for when The Last of Us Season 2 might debut, it's not expected to arrive until 2025 at the soonest. HBO also confirmed during the event that House of the Dragon Season 2 will debut in early Summer 2024 and that another Game of Thrones spin-off will begin production in 2024.Continue Reading at GameSpot...
