Spider-Man 4 Script "Really Lit A Fire In Me," Says Tom Holland

Nearly three years ago, Tom Holland headlined Spider-Man: No Way Home opposite his two immediate predecessors, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, in what turned out to be the highest-grossing film that Sony has ever released. Holland hasn't exactly rushed back to the MCU since then, and he hasn't even made any cameos. Regardless, Holland is still on board for the next adventure of Peter Parker, and he's already read the script for Spider-Man 4."I read [the Spider-Man 4 script] three weeks ago and it really lit a fire in me," said Holland during his recent appearance on Rich Roll's YouTube show. "Zendaya and I sat down, read it together and we at times were bouncing around the living room like, 'This is a real movie worthy of the fans' respect.' But there's a few things we need to figure out before we can get that really going."Holland didn't mention that Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton is in talks to helm Spider-Man 4, but he did say that there are "fantastic people we have working on it now."
