Marvel's Spider-Man 2 launches this Friday, October 20, and ahead of that, developer Insomniac Games has issued an important notice to fans about how to have the best experience with the PlayStation 5 game at launch.Spider-Man 2 went gold in late September, and since then, Insomniac has been working on "notable enhancements," the studio said on X/Twitter. As such, Insomniac recommends that people download an update, version 1.001.002, prior to getting started. No one has to, though, and the game is playable from start to finish without the patch.
