Omni-Man Joins Mortal Kombat 1 Roster In November, Full Kombat Pass Timeline Revealed

At the Invincible panel at New York Comic Con this past weekend, NetherRealm Studios revealed that Omni-Man will be the first downloadable fighter for Mortal Kombat 1, and that he will be available in NovemberA new gameplay trailer focused on Omni-Man was shown during the panel, which showed a Fatal Blow and two Fatalities ripped straight from iconic moments from the comic book and TV show. The trailer also confirmed J.K. Simmons will reprise his role in the game--as his voice can be heard threatening Liu Kang and Scorpion--while also highlighting Tremor as the first downloadable Kameo fighter. NetherRealm also confirmed the timeline for the first Kombat Pass, which is set to add six characters including Omni-Man to the roster between November and Summer 2024.
