Surprise Nintendo Mobile Release Is Fire Emblem Meets Among Us

Now that the PlayStation State of Play has ended, Nintendo has stepped in with some surprise news of its own. The company, completely by surprise, has released a new Fire Emblem game for mobile devices called Fire Emblem Shadows, and it’s an unlikely blend of strategy and social deduction.Fire Emblem Shadows gives players control of a party of warriors, and asks them to choose between Light and Shadow. As the team progresses through dungeons, the player must determine which of his allies is a traitor, and act accordingly before it’s too late. Battles play out in a strategy format that doesn’t quite follow the usual Fire Emblem way, but does contain some elements of it.
