Resident Evil Requiem Scares Its Way Onto Nintendo Switch 2

Today, during the Nintendo Direct livestream, Capcom announced that the next chapter in its storied horror franchise, Resident Evil Requiem, will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on February 27, 2026--the same day as the other consoles and PC.Resident Evil Requiem was originally announced during Summer Game Fest in June. This new Resident Evil is set 30 years after the events of the original Raccoon City outbreak, and it stars a new heroine, FBI agent Grace Ashcroft, as she investigates the derelict Wrenwood Hotel in search of answers after a series of grisly events.The announcement came alongside news that the Gold Editions of both Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village will be ported to the Switch 2 on the same day.
