THQ Nordic has announced that SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake will launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on October 16. Additionally, all platforms--including PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One--will receive a free update that will include a bevy of new features, such as Photo Mode.The photo mode will allow players to choose between 19 different filters and apply them to their pictures. There are new costumes as well--the King Doubloon costume can be unlocked by collecting all doubloons and the Plush Gary costume is available when unlocking all rewards.For the PlayStation 5 version specifically, the game will support DualSense controller features. For example, there will be audio output when picking up items and adaptive triggers will activate when using reef blower and swinging hook actions.Continue Reading at GameSpot...
