James Gunn Debunks New Batman Game Rumors

It was recently reported that a new video game set within the universe of Matt Reeves' The Batman was potentially in the works, but that is apparently not true. James Gunn, one of the co-heads of DC Studios--AKA someone who would definitely know--debunked the rumor on social media.He said on Threads, "Sadly there is no truth to this whatsoever."A report from Puck News said there could be a video game based on HBO's Penguin TV series--which itself is set in The Batman universe--in the works.
