Looking for a new game to scratch that Animal Crossing itch? Then you're in luck, as a very promising (and completely adorable) new title is now in the works. Announced during Gamescom Opening Night Live, Floatopia is an upcoming farming/life sim that sees players start a new, superpower-filled life in the clouds and features charming, Animal Crossing-esque visuals. You can check out some images of the game below.Billed as "a whimsical world filled with toys, travel, superpowers, and floating islands," Floatopia is the next game from developer NetEase. The studio stated that the game will feature farming, fishing, logging, and home decorating, as well as plenty of magical powers and world customization. When not tending to their homestead, players will get the chance to travel to other realms inspired by "diverse cultures."
