The Resident Evil games may be full of terrifying monsters, but none might be as persistent or relentless as Duolingo's mascot, Duo the green owl. The playful exchange between Resident Evil Portal and Duolingo Japan's Twitter account started off already wild, showing a muscular version of Duo replacing the T-002 Tyrant from the original game. Duolingo Japan responded with an edit of its own, placing Duo in the role of the T-00 Tyrant (Mr. X) from Resident Evil 2.
