Xbox's New Translucent Controller Looks Awesome, And It Releases Soon

Microsoft has revealed the Xbox Wireless Controller: Sky Cipher Special Edition--a translucent gamepad that lets you see the gadget's inner workings. It releases on August 13, and preorders are now available. Like most special-edition controllers, we're expecting this to be quite popular. So if you don't want to miss out, be sure to reserve a unit soon. Xbox Wireless Controller: Sky Cipher Special Edition $70 With a blue transparent top case, rubberized grips, and metallic sky blue accents, this is one of the coolest controller designs for Xbox Series X|S. Of course, it'll also work on PC and mobile, and features all the usual tech from Xbox Wireless Controllers. This includes a share button, a pairing button to quickly switch devices, and a 3.5mm stereo headset jack. Preorder at Microsoft Store Keep in mind that this controller uses AA batteries instead of a rechargeable battery pack, though you'll get up to 40 hours of playtime before needing to replace them.
