Epic Games has announced that it will be removing Fortnite and its other games from the Samsung Galaxy Store in protest today, claiming that Samsung is engaging in anticompetitive practices.Epic Games said that Samsung's decision to block sideloading by default on Samsung Android devices stifles competition in the Android app distribution market. Due to the restriction on sideloading, Samsung users are only allowed to install apps from the Google Play Store and Galaxy Store.However, Epic Games has a new solution in mind. Due to the European Union passing the Digital Markets Act, Epic Games is now able to create its own storefront for Android worldwide and iOS in the EU.
