Superman Actor Auditioned For James Gunn's Superman But It Didn't Go So Well

Actor Jack Quaid voices Clark Kent/Superman on the animated show My Adventures with Superman, but when he auditioned for the live-action version for James Gunn's new movie, it didn't go so well. He told Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused podcast that he sent an audition tape to Gunn, but it "went nowhere.""I didn't get very far at all... and that's fine," he said, as reported by IGN. Quaid said that although he's the voice of Superman already, he didn't "fit the bill physically at all."
