Elden Ring DLC's Map Is Way Bigger Than We Were Led To Believe

Before the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion arrived for Elden Ring, director Hidetaka Miyazaki set some interesting expectations for the DLC's map. He basically said the new map would be similar in size to the base game's starting area of Limgrave.That's definitely underselling the Realm of Shadows, the DLC's map, quite a bit. In fact, on X (formerly known as Twitter), an account called Elden Ring Updates posted Shadow of the Erdtree's world over the top of Elden Ring's landmass.
