House Of The Dragon Star Reveals Why He Never Watched Game Of Thrones

House of the Dragon actor Ewan Mitchell plays Aemond Targaryen on the Game of Thrones spinoff series House of the Dragon, but the actor has never seen the original show. He told ComicBook that he intentionally avoided the original fantasy series so he could play Aemond with fresh eyes."I haven't seen the original Game of Thrones," Mitchell said. "I have a confession to make. I've never seen it and I didn't want to watch it going into this role. I didn't want it to inform my decisions in any way, shape, or form, you know, whether it be consciously or subconsciously. I wanted to bring something fresh. Aemond is one of a kind, you know."
