The Last Of Us Season 2 Will Be Shorter Than Season 1, But More Seasons Could Be On The Way

The upcoming second season of HBO's hit adaptation of The Last Of Us will have fewer episodes than Season 1 did, according to a report from Deadline.Season 2 is slated to hit the HBO's streaming service sometime in 2025, and it has now been confirmed that unlike Season 1--which consisted of nine episodes--Season 2 will only have seven episodes."The story material that we got from Part II of the game is way more than the story material that was in the first game, so part of what we had to do from the start was figure out how to tell that story across seasons," showrunner Craig Mazin said.
