Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Announced, Worldwide Reveal Set For June 9

Activision has officially announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 through a teaser video. It's rumored to release this October across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. Microsoft now owns Activision and the Call of Duty franchise, but new releases--like Black Ops 6--will continue to launch as multiplatform releases.Basically nothing is known about Black Ops 6 as of yet, but the teaser video describes it as a "dark new chapter" of the Black Ops series. The game's worldwide reveal will take place on June 9 as part of the Xbox Games Showcase event. The story for Black Ops 6 is rumored to take place, at least in part, during the Gulf War. Call of Duty games are known to be globetrotting affairs that travel through numerous locations--and time periods.
