A Minecraft Movie Surges Past $700 Million Worldwide

A Minecraft Movie has grossed over $700 million worldwide, with about $345 million domestically and $376 million internationally. So far, the total is about $721 million.According to Box Office Mojo, A Minecraft Movie brought in a little over $41 million this past weekend in the United States. $9.5 million came in on Sunday, a nearly 40% drop off from Saturday which brought in $15.8 million, as well as $16 million on Friday. Still, that shouldn't be too surprising considering this past Sunday was the Easter holiday.Despite this big milestone, it's still the second-highest-grossing video game movie ever, continuing to sit behind The Super Mario Bros.
