A Star Trek prequel movie is in the works with Star Wars director Toby Haynes attached to direct, Paramount announced during CinemaCon. This has been rumored since January, and now it's confirmed. The movie is set for release sometime in 2025.Haynes previously directed episodes of Doctor Who, Black Mirror, Sherlock, and the Star Wars series Andor. Collider reported on these details from CinemaCon.Seth Grahame-Smith, who wrote The Lego Batman Movie, is writing the untitled Star Trek film.
