Bungie's Marathon Won't Need A PSN Account To Play On PC Or Xbox

Bungie is about to jump into its next generation of shooters with Marathon, a series it's reviving after being largely dormant for almost three decades. Little has been seen since the announcement, and while there is a planned gameplay reveal this weekend, Bungie recently confirmed that PC and Xbox players won't need a PSN account to play the extraction shooter. Eurogamer is reporting that over on the Marathon Discord channel, a user said they were "spooked" by the idea of having to use a PSN login to play.
