Dotemu has revealed Marvel Cosmic Invasion, a retro 2D beat-'em-up game featuring Marvel superheroes in a classic art style. Revealed during the Nintendo Direct, Marvel Cosmic Invasion features up to four-player co-op and has several Marvel characters you can play as to smack down alien invaders.For each level, you pick two characters, swapping between the two via team-up attacks, and creating special combo attacks depending on which characters you choose. While only a handful of characters were shown in the reveal trailer, the Marvel Cosmic Invasion Steam page states that there will be 15 playable characters to choose from. The trailer revealed a handful of Marvel characters you can play as, like Wolverine, Captain America, Spider-Man, Venom, Nova, Phyla-Vell, and Storm. There was also a boss fight against Task Master shown, along with a brief glimpse of the Sentinel enemies from X-Men in the cinematic.Continue Reading at GameSpot...
