Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Update May Have Spoiled Upcoming DLC

The latest patch for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 may have accidentally revealed upcoming DLC plans for the game. The patch accidentally let players access a development menu of the game, letting them see what appears to be future content.Players over on Reddit discovered an entire menu called the Beetle Villain arc. The first selectable option, "Beetle Janice Intro," reveals who the villain is. In the comics, Janice Lincoln is the daughter of Tombstone, a former villain in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. While Janice doesn't have any natural superpowers, the armored suit she eventually wears as Beetle provides her with super-strength, enhanced endurance, and flight capabilitiesThis discovery also matches up with the cyberattack leak developer Insomniac Games suffered back in December 2023.
