Mark Wahlberg Talks Uncharted 2 Movie And Says Script Is In

2022's Uncharted movie starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg made more than $400 million globally and is the No. 5 highest-grossing video game movie of all time. Despite its apparent commercial success, and the fact that Sony Pictures management believes the first movie started a "franchise," no sequel has been announced. Fans got some positive-sounding news recently, though, as Wahlberg said he heard the script for Uncharted 2 is finished.Speaking to ScreenRant, Wahlberg said he was recently informed that the script is done and that he was informed he should start growing his mustache to play Sully again. "I'd be interested to see what the story's like, and where that adventure takes us. But I'm excited; I know audiences really loved the first one, so we'll see," he said.Even with a script being submitted, that doesn't necessarily mean Uncharted 2 is a lock to actually get made.
