Madame Web Is Not Off To A Good Start At The Box Office

Sony's newest Spider-Man spin-off, Madame Web, is in theaters now, and it's off to a slow start. The movie released on February 14 in the US, earning $6 million for its first day and $2.2 million on Thursday for a two-day total of $8.2 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.For comparison, the Bob Marley biopic One Love also opened on Wednesday stateside and has so far made $17.9 million after two days. Numbers for Friday are not yet available.Madame Web is projected to earn between $25 million and $27 million over the six-day period covering February 14-19 for the Valentine's Day to Presidents Day long weekend.
