Battlefield 6 Is Reportedly Bringing Back The Portal Platform From 2042

The next installment of the Battlefield series--ostensibly Battlefield 6--is bringing back the acclaimed Battlefield Portal feature from the otherwise critically maligned Battlefield 2042, according to a YouTuber.Content creator Flakfire said in a video uploaded Monday that he was invited to an online presentation detailing the Battlefield Labs community testing experience. Developers confirmed in the presentation that Portal, a custom-games-mode platform in 2042, is returning in the upcoming Battlefield game, Flakfire said.In Battlefield 2042, Portal featured maps, weapons, and vehicles from previous titles in the franchise, namely Battlefield 1942, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3.
