A Longtime Microsoft Exclusive Franchise Makes Its PlayStation Debut In March

Developer World's Edge has announced that Age of Mythology: Retold and Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition will be launching on PlayStation 5 this year.The Age of Empires spin-off Age of Mythology: Retold is releasing on March 4 with the same content as the Xbox and PC versions, including the new expansion launching on the same day, the Chinese-themed Immortal Pillars. The PS5 version will also include cross-play and every future update will be pushed onto all platforms. The Premium Edition grants five-day early access starting on February 27 and preorders include two exclusive Blessings for the Arena of the Gods mode.In Spring 2025, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition will drop on PS5 alongside new DLC expansions for all platforms.
