The latest hotfix for Baldur's Gate 3 lets you access quest-critical items anywhere, even if they aren't held by any of your current party members. As of this patch, certain items will always be accessible during their relevant quests, whether they are in your current party's inventory, held by a companion back at back, or stowed away in a camp chest.A fix for Xbox save issues is also en route. Since the Xbox Series X release, Xbox players have occasionally lost save games. Director Swen Vincke addressed the issue on X (formerly Twitter), writing, "Got good news from Xbox- they found the firmware issue that could cause save games to go missing and a fix is incoming." The patch adds more categories to the waypoint list, grouping them by location.
